G'day John,
We've had a shocker of a summer over here. High forties Celsius for the duration and zero moisture. I think I've only seen two storms in four months that were even remotely worth shooting. I have one or two from the prospecting holiday that I can put up. Had a beauty of a shelf come across the hills while gold detecting.

Hope all has been well over there. Loving your recent shots too!

Hi Stephen,

I'll get one or two pics up again soon. Still stuck with this severe drought so we've missed all the storms and typical summer weather this year :/

I think there's actual sand dunes starting to form around town lol!

We're looking towards the same Summer as you've had. Our snow pack
in the Sierra (200 km from here) is only 5% of normal. Our reservoirs are
at all time lows. (75-100 yrs.)

We have Russian Thistles here in Calif., they break off and are blown across
the dry countryside and are called Tumbleweeds. Four or five feet tall they are caught by cattle fences and pile up for miles in length.

Of course our politicians still are debating if Global Warming is true or not!!!

When you and I do see heavy rains again they'll be followed by flooding.

Sometimes being 68 is not so bad.    SMF

Here's a late Summer rain from last year, would you get lightning from this
type storm?
